Merlin, what a waste of time. If knowing the future were as easy as looking at leaves in a teacup... Eileen took the final sip, then held the cup in her left hand and swirled vigorously. Three times, clockwise, the way Professor Mopsus had taught them. She drained the dregs, put the cup back down on the saucer, and critically peered inside. It looked like...clumps of damp tea leaves.

Blaise takes matters into his own hands after the war.

This is just a short little fic about friends; it's about the stuff that we do to each other. You know, like screw up and fight and stuff. But that's what friends do. An attempt at kindness goes wrong. Harry, Ron and Hermione are put into a state of general misery. But this is a story about friends after all. It'll all work out in the end. There is just a little *hint* of romance, but it's very small and it's canon. I'll let you figure it out. Enjoy!

My debut into the Harry Potter fanfic world, written back on 07-31-00. I figured I'd post it here just so you all could see how my writing has changed. Slight shounen-ai implications if you want them to be. If not, hopefully this will at least spur thought.

Most crashes are dramatic and sudden. Then, there are others that are soft and take time, like that of the fall of the House of Nott. After the birth of her son, Theodore, Ella Nott learns of her husband's true work. But that is only the beginning. There on, the Dark Lord vanishes. And then, only time can tell until her time is up. Such a fall will never come around for centuries, as that of Ella Nott and the Nott family.

A dark, disturbing, odd little fic. Harry loves Colin, and Colin loves Harry. It's perfect, surely? (Warning for extreme angst and weirdness!)

So now, less than a month after dying, how is death feeling for Sirius Black? And what is going through poor Harry's mind?

Kathrine O'Malley, very prominant Pureblood, ex-wife to Sirius Black (though that's not important), has lost a very powerful amulet and must find it within forty-eight hours of losing it. With the help of the Mystery Squad, they are able discover the thief.

When she was younger, Bellatrix used to visit funerals of those killed by the Dark Lord. She now feels they may have an influence on her loyalties.

"Orphan. Hermione never considered that word much before. Until she became one herself." The death of her parents' death turn Hermione into a catatonic person, who doesn't care, doesn't know, doesn't realise anything going around her. She only knows one thing.``Nobody's home. Pure angst.

"She edited her letters while composing them in her head, learning to give just enough to inspire verisimilitude. She learned to tell stories, in writing at least, and by the time summer came around, she'd told the same ones, over and over until they came automatically to her lips."

Let it never be said that irony exempts heroes from its clutches. This fic follows through the eyes of one who is overtaken by hatred and does something that he will regret forever. If the dead have regrets. A post-Hogwarts darkfic.
