Okay, everyone has their view of what really happened between Ron and Hermione in the hospital wing. Don't get me wrong, I completely agree with them. But, I think while we were focusing so much on Ron and Hermione, that we could have missed out on what really happened between Harry and Ginny during Ron and Hermione's extended absence. Here's my view. We start off on a cool day, and Harry is sulking by the lake. Someone taps him on the shoulder and...

Things change and, although Draco may not like it, he gets used to it.

After Voldemort kills the Potters & disappears, Wormtail arrives at the Potter's house before anyone else & takes Harry away on a small motorbike, intent on "dealing" w/ Harry in his own way. He runs the bike into a pothole & smashes it into a tree, rendering it basically useless. People in the nearby houses hear the noise, and start coming to see what happened. Wormtail panics & quickly Apparates away, leaving young Harry crying by the tree. He lives a horrible life in the orphanage, & is rescued by Snape at age 8. Sirius is made to take the strongest Veritaserum in existence, found innocent, and set free. Now that he's free, he wants to adopt Harry. But what happens when Snape forms a liking to the small boy and wants to adopt him as well?

Just a one-shot Ron/Hermione fic about Hermione staring across the common room at Ron with lost thoughts running through her mind about her feelings. Harry has a part in getting them to confess their feelings to each other. From Hermione's POV. Kinda sweet!
