I don't know where I am. Darkness surrounds me. Everything is black and blurry.

The air smells like rain but probably I am in a dungeon. I can't picture the Dark Lord at open air. Bare walls, I imagine, no furniture. I can hear random footsteps and they echo like the whispered words of the men who are here to see...

I wonder how it will be next time, when I will not be the one in the middle of the room, waiting. I wonder whether there will be a next time. But I am calm and my heartbeats are regular. No ragged breath for me, I have been well raised. I stand here still, looking perfectly at ease, like I've been raised. I'm not scared. Maybe it is because after seventeen years of practice, I can hide so well my feelings that even I don't know where deceiving appearances end, and I start.

Still hushed whispers behind me, but now more footsteps, more people are arriving to see... however, this is not a special event.

But this is a special day, after all.
