"Susan...pssst, Susan!" Ron whispered urgently. They were in the middle of N.E.W.T. potions and had just started their Polyjuice Potion unit. Susan was concentrating so hard, she barely noticed she was wanted until she felt a swift jab in the side.

"Ow!...er, sorry Professor Snape, I burned myself," said Susan, as she rubbed the spot she had been poked. She leaned over and whispered, "Ron, why in the bloody hell did you poke me?!"

"Well, maybe you should open up your ears," started Ron hotly. However, as Susan made to turn away out of annoyance, Ron changed his tone. "I'm sorry Susan, but I just wanted to know...well...are you busy later? Say around 7?"

"Well, I do have to get to the library to do my foot-long essay on wolfsbane, but I'm sure that won't take all that long," said Susan. "Why do you ask?"

Ron looked at his feet and mumbled, "well can you meet me down at the lake?"

"Sure," replied Susan. "Any particular reason?"

"Well, it's a bit of a surprise really," whispered Ron. "Just wear a bathing suit, okay?"

Before Susan could ask anymore, the bell rang and Ron left his station, giving Susan a smile and wink as he disappeared down the corridor.

"Why the bloody hell are you wearing a bath robe, Susan?!" exclaimed Ron. "You know, we are going to be swimming, and that'll just hold you back."

Susan blushed a little and replied, "I have my bathing suit on, but I just don't like strutting around the corridors in just that, you know." Susan looked around and after a brief silence she asked the question she'd been wondering about since she left potions. "Why am I here with you, Ron?"

"You'll see." With that, they got into the water and ventured toward a part of the lake partially out of view in the Dark Forest. When the place they were going came into view, Susan let out a slight gasp.

There was a beautiful waterfall cascading down an overhanging plateau. The water was crystal clear, cool, and refreshing. They swam toward the waterfall.

"Just a little further," mumbled Ron as they approached the foot of the falls.

"But if we go any further we'll go straight under the..."

Before she could finish, Ron disappeared behind the falls.

Wearily, Susan followed, and beyond the falls, there was a large cove where all sound was blocked by the falling water. It was the perfect getaway.

"Susan, I just wanted to bring you here to give you something I've wanted to give you for a long time," said Ron as he approached her at the water's edge. He pulled his body up beside hers, and his face was so close that she could smell the butterbeer on his breath. Before she could reply, his warm lips were touching hers. She kissed back, slowly at first, but after a few seconds she returned it hungrily. She had never been kissed in such a way as to take her breath away.

When they were done, Ron looked at her and whispered, "close your eyes."

As soon as she closed them, a pair of warm lips enclosed over hers once again, kissing her tenderly, and once again taking her breath away.

"Ron, why did you want me to close my eyes, if you were just..." She stopped mid-sentence because the sight that met her shocked her beyond belief. The eyes she was staring into did not belong to Ron. They were a blazing green. These eyes belonged to no other than Harry Potter.

Author notes: I'm planning on making this a 4 chapter story. But who knows what will pop up along the way. Or, more importantly, who...
